next to it so you’re notified each time I upload a new video reason being I’ll
hang out for the first 15 to 20 minutes after I post the video so if you have
questions comments feedback that way we can interact which is one of the main
reasons why I’m here so this is one of those videos and one of those topics
that when I was researching I had multiple like literal mind blown
experiences I think the prophecies in the Bible are some of the coolest most
astounding things considering the timeframe that they happen and how they
happen and the symbolism it’s honestly just incredible so make sure you pay
attention to this video closely because you’ll see how throughout the video
things are woven together and then it’ll all come together in the end now
some of you may have never heard this phrase before and so let me point it out
real quick revelation 5:5 then one of the elders said to me do not weep see
the Lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David has triumphed he is able to
open the scroll in its seven seals so this is actually referring to Christ’s
second coming when he comes back to rule and to judge the world now the root of
David King David back from the tribe of Judah which was the tribe that produced
Kings that means Jesus or who this verse is referring to is pre David so now
let’s break down lion and Judah now Judah was one of the twelve tribes
of Israel and of course Israel was God’s chosen people and this particular tribe
Judah was known for producing Kings of course when it comes to Kings all
throughout Scripture Christ is going to be referred to and prophesied as the
ultimate King and so just to prove let’s take a look at Hebrews 7 14 through 16
for it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah and in regard to that tribe
Moses said nothing about priests we’re talking about Kings and what we have
said is even more clear if another priests like Melchizedek appears one who
has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to ancestry but on the
basis of the power of an indestructible life so this is saying that prophesying
that the next king that will come if one comes like Melchizedek based on his
power and an indestructible life then it’ll be all the more that we need to
believe what is written because Jesus wasn’t King because he was born in that
genealogy it’s because of the power that he has and so now getting into the lion
symbolism it’s mentioned many times in the Bible but when we think of line we
think of king of the jungle because it’s the top of the food chain it devours it
destroys and honestly I’m gonna rifle through a couple of these verses where
the Bible references God as being a lion and as I read these I want you to keep
those themes of devouring destroying judgment in your mind
Joel 3:16 the Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem the earth and
the heavens will tremble but the Lord will be a refuge for his people a
stronghold for the people of Israel what’s the other side of a lion
it will protect its family at all costs so the Lord is not only gonna come to
bring judgment but he’s also the protection for his people Jeremiah 25 30
and 31 now prophesy all these words against
them and say to them the Lord will roar from on high he will thunder from his
holy dwelling in roar mightily against his land he will shout like those who
tread the grapes shout against all who live on the earth the tumult will
resound to the ends of the earth for the Lord will bring charges against the
nation’s he will bring judgment on all mankind and put the wicked to the sword
declares the Lord another thing to keep in mind sword and judgment and all these
scenes being woven together Amos 3 4 does a lion roar in the thicket when it
has no prey does it growl and its den when it has caught nothing
God’s not coming to bring judgment for no reason it’s because of unrepented sin
Isaiah 31 for this is what the Lord says to me as a lion growls a great line you know
for its prey and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against it
it is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor so the Lord
Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion on its heights
Hosea 13 7 through 8 so I will be like a lion to them like a leopard I will lurk
by the path like a bear robbed of her cubs I will attack them and rip them
open like a lion I will devour them a wild animal will tear them apart
Jeremiah 2:30 in vain I punished your people they did not respond to
correction your sword has devoured your prophets like a ravenous lion proverbs
19 12 a king’s rage is like the roar of a lion but his favor is like to do on
the grass so as you can see many times throughout scripture God is referenced
as a lion who was going to come back and rule the world and bring judgment on the
world now this is where stuff gets super awesome back in Genesis the first book
in the Bible there was a messianic prophecy when Jacob who was later known
as Israel which is once again God’s people is speaking to his son Judah who
would eventually become and the leader of the tribe of Judah now as I read this
verse I want you to think about it as a messianic prophecy and see what you get
from this Genesis 49 8 through 10 Judah once again this is Jacob talking to his
son your brothers will praise you your hand will be on the neck of your enemies
your father’s sons will bow down to you you are a lion’s cub Judah you return
from the prey my son like a lion he crouches and lies down like a lioness
who dares to rouse him the scepter will not depart from Judah nor the ruler’s
staff from between his feet until he to whom it belongs shall come and the
obedience of the nations shall be his so I mean like look at this your brothers
will praise you everybody will praise Christ your brothers those who believe
in Christ your hand will be on the neck of your adversary Jesus has his hand
on the neck of devil has adversary and he will end his reign when he decides
you are a lion’s cub Christ is the lion’s cub being referenced here came as
a lamb to be sacrificed will come back as a lion the scepter will not depart
from Judah so a scepter was just a sword that people in authority carried around
so Authority will rest in Christ’s hand for all time and the obedience of the
nations shall be his every knee will bow before Christ at some point
speaking of authority in ruling and the scepter let’s look at revelation 19:15
coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nation’s
he will rule them with an iron scepter he treads the winepress of the fury of
the wrath of the God Almighty who’s gonna bring the judgment in the wrath of
God Almighty Christ is who has the scepter Christ next verse 16 on his robe
and on his thigh he has this name written king of kings and Lord of lords
the tribe of Judah the line that produced Kings who’s the ultimate king
whose King of Kings Christ so now I know that was a lot of information but let’s
wrap it up and summarize it Jesus is a lion coming back to judge and devour his
enemy he’s going to destroy Satan and he will judge all the nations and they will
all be obedient to him from the line of Judah the line of Judah was known for
producing Kings King Solomon and King David Christ is the ultimate in the
final King of Kings that’s why Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah so I hope
that you guys love hearing this information in this prophecy fulfilled
as much as I did when I was researching it the Lion of Judah now takes on a
whole new meaning for me and I hope that it does you too if you did like this
