Who is Jesus? Titles of Jesus: Son of God,
Jesus is God. We will speak of Jesus from the Gospels, and of the letters were handwritten by his disciples, everything was written in the first century. I recommend you, watch firstly the last video, the Christ, the Anointed, the Messiah, Yeshua ha Mashiach. What does Son of God mean? If He is Son of God, He isn’t God. Slower Peter. Son of God is a title that identifies the
divinity of Jesus, this is much more than a paternal relationship,
between Father and Son. How, I can’t understand,
If Jesus is Son of God, He isn’t God. No, N,o No, Lilibeth, You are wrong. When the gospel identifies Jesus as the Son
of God, it affirms that Jesus has the same divine
nature as God the Father, Jesus and God, the Father, share the same
characteristics. When Jesus was in the Earth as a man, if a father was a farmer the children was a farmer, if he was a carpenter the children would be a carpenter. The office was taught from father to son. The father determined what the child would
be in professional and social terms. The bible has the word son with the same meaning
of to be of the same nature. Take a look. Second Samuel 23 6. But the sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: Sons of Belial means to be as Belial. Nehemiah 12 28. And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi; Sons of the singers means to be a singer. Isaiah 19 11. Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh
is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? Son of the wise means to be wise. Psalm 89 22. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. Son of wickedness means to be wickedness. Perhaps this statement is strange to you, but let’s take a look at a biblical text from John 10 22 42. I will cite only a piece from this text. I recommend you read all the text before you continue watching. The context: In Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication, Jesus was discussing with Jews about who was
him; Jesus. The Jews did not accept his answer, and they understood that what Jesus said was a blasphemy, then they picked up stones to stone him. The question is: What did the Jews understand as a blasphemy? Let’s read together the verse 33, the answer of the Jews to Jesus: ‘We are not stoning you for any good work,’ they replied, ‘but for blasphemy, because you, a mere
man, claim to be God.’ John 10 33. Let’s see what Jesus said. What about the one whom
the Father set apart as his very own
and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy
because I said, “I am God’s Son”? John 10 36. It is interesting. The Jews understood that when Jesus told that “I and the Father are one”
or “I am the Son of God”, Jesus claims to be God. Then; the Jews to apply the Jewish law; they should punish him by stone him. Ahhh, Because this Jesus is the only-begotten
Son of God. Yes Peter, the title Son of God indicates the only-begotten Son of God: Jesus participates of the divine nature. He has the same character of God. We can see a similar thing happened in John
5 16 18. So, because Jesus was doing these things on
the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. In his defence, Jesus said to them, ‘My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.’ For this reason,
they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. Um…
making himself equal with God. It is clear that Christ always claimed to
be the only-begotten Son of the Father; and the Jews rightly understood him as thus
making himself equal with God. Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed
